SXM DOET
Just after Carnival, SXM DOET 2026 invites residents and visitors to come together and make a difference across St. Maarten. For more than a decade, this inspiring initiative has brought volunteers together to support schools, healthcare facilities, environmental organizations, and community centers through short, hands-on projects.
From beach cleanups and mangrove conservation to painting schools, building playgrounds, stocking libraries, and organizing youth sports activities, every project helps strengthen the island while offering a meaningful way to connect with the local community.
Open to residents, tourists, youth, and organizations, SXM DOET is a unique opportunity to experience St. Maarten through its people while contributing to the island’s social, cultural, and environmental well-being.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended for many outdoor activities.
